We're a small, founder-led software and online-presence shop serving small businesses across the Metro East and Greater St. Louis. KMO Solutions Foundry started as one engineer doing the work — and as we've grown, the standard hasn't changed: real engineering, honest tradeoffs, and one accountable owner on every project.

Hi, I'm Ceryce Armstrong — owner, operator, and the person who actually writes the code at KMO Solutions Foundry. I'm an autistic trans woman with ADHD, a senior software engineer with ten-plus years in production systems, and a maker — small electronics, woodworking, 3D printing, tailoring, the occasional video game when there's time.
I was born on an Air Force base in Panama and moved to O'Fallon, Illinois the summer before 7th grade, when my dad started working from home and we could be closer to my mom's family on the Metro East side. I went to South Dakota School of Mines and Technology for a B.S. in Computer Science (2015) and built a career in regulated industries:
PNC Bank, Senior Software Engineer
Led a team and the technical implementation of a legacy batch modernization that processed hundreds of thousands to millions of financial transactions daily.
BJC Healthcare, Healthcare Informaticist
Designed and implemented the reporting infrastructure for antibiotic use and resistance reporting to the CDC, handling millions of medical administration events monthly.
The charitable arm of a major national financial services firm, Senior Software Engineer
Designed custom AI agents that cut implementation time on certain modernization projects by 90%.
I started KMO Solutions Foundry in April 2025 because I was in a really low place, the 2025 job market was chaotic, and my uncle asked me to make him a website. Building that site, I realized I didn't need to find a job — I could make my own. Small businesses in the Metro East deserve the same engineering rigor those large companies demand: real diagnostic time, real options with honest tradeoffs, and one accountable owner who stands behind the work. That's the standard I started KMO Solutions Foundry on — and the one we hold to as the team grows.
The principal office is at home in O'Fallon. Most engagements happen here or remotely; I take clients across the Greater St. Louis area and beyond. My twin sister is a doctor in the Air Force in San Antonio with her husband and my three-year-old nephew. My mom's family is rooted in the Metro East. This is home.
